Welcome to our Community Gardener- Climate Officer

Posted on
October 31, 2023

We are pleased to announce Dave Matthews has been appointed community gardener / Climate Officer role to work in the Camglen area at Grow 73 !

The South Lanarkshire Bee Line to Nature is an ambitious and transformative project led by our communities. We aim to engage the unengaged, in nature based programmes, focussing on protecting and expanding green and natural spaces that matter to them and make a significant contribution to the aim of creating a deeper connection with nature to engender a change in people's behaviours and greater cae for the environment. The project is led by 4 voluntary sector anchor organisations: Larkhall Community Growers, Healthy and Active in Eastkilbride, Langloch Farm at CCI in Lanark and Grow 73 in Camglen. A collaborative project raising awareness of Climate, Nature and Health.

This project is funded for 3 years by National Lottery Climate Action Fund.
